Gerson Rocha, a passionate foodie and entrepreneur, dedicated seven years in Brazil to making hot dogs, where his hot dogs were considered the best in town. His hot dogs became beloved not only for their incredible taste but also for the combination of his warm smile, infectious happiness, and unwavering passion that he brought to every customer interaction.
When Gerson arrived in Australia in 2008, he dreamed of introducing the authentic Brazilian hot dog to Australian culture. He saw the potential but faced many challenges that took him away from his dream. However, in 2023, he finally got the opportunity to make his dream a reality by opening The Pressdown. This establishment brings the authentic taste and vibrant spirit of Brazilian street food to Australia, offering a unique and delightful experience to all who visit.
